Griffith Park: free and cheap

All the parking is free, as are many of the activities you can engage in there: hike, bike, jog, watch stars, play soccer, or have a picnic. Other services may have a small fee such as attending the world famous Los Angeles Zoo or playing golf or tennis. There's a Merry-go-round, which may involve an admission charge. The baseball diamond may at least require an advance reservation.
