The 99 Cents Only store in Glendale currently has 9.75 ounce packages of Christmas sugar cookies for just 33 cents each. That works out to almost two pounds of cookies for single buck. The one type has sprinkles, the other has a bit of jam or fruit filling on top. I bought a package of the latter type before Christmas, and they weren't so bad. Whether they're in other stores in L.A. isn't known, but they probably have some left over bargains.

Those of you who've always wanted to meet Paris Hilton can do so tonight between 5 and 7pm at the Montebello Town Center. Just one catch: you need to buy two or more items from her perfume line.
